I'm not currently living at this residence permanately yet, but I'm glad I dragged them with me from CT to NC, to do my best at setting up the house. Unfortuneatly, I had to wash them and bring them back with me to CT. The pillow cases were uneven in how they were sewed and it was a struggle to get the fitted sheet on, plus they are very heavy for a warmer climate. They feel more like flannel, than cotton. Also, they picked up every bit of lint. I know black is a hard color, but I've had sets of black sheets before and they really didn't pick-up anything like these do. That's because again, they feel more like flannel. I just can't see keeping them because they'll never look and feel crisp and clean for houseguests.
