Always loved feather and fur throws; I own a dozen, all over the house. This is the Queen Mother of throws. I've gotten to the point where I can't sleep without it. When my new dog decided it was a legitimate kill and started ripping into the thing whenever I wasn't looking, I nearly had a stroke. It's so well made that he hasn't managed to ruin it, but I'm buying another one and storing it, until the newspaper on the nose sinks in. Meanwhile, one note - I washed it on cold with Woolite and air-dried, figuring it was already compromised. It did okay, but it did make the two sections sort of feel more apart now. I'll dry clean my new one. Unlike any phony fur I've ever owned, it didn't come out of the bag reeking - it smelled and felt great, and I put it on the bed at once, despite the fact I usually have new things cleaned first. However, the store price for a throw blanket similar in size as the one being reviewed (this one is actually bigger) was holding me off from buying it. A few minutes later I was looking at this page.
To be honest, I was not sure if this blanket would have the same qualities as the one I had seen and touched in person. But seeing that the price is almost twice as less and the fact that this one is double sided left me little reasons to withhold buying it.
After waiting impatiently for a few days I'm now happy to say that this throw blanket delivers the finest qualities. It looks luxurious and leaves a sense of warmth when touched. I have never actually touched any other fur (real or faux) that feels as soft and delicate. The fact that it is double sided makes it twice as good.
