The color is definitely not blue. I was glad to see it was green. That is what I was looking for. I love it. It is a beautiful set. I would recommend it. I didn't see any reviews about this set that mentioned that. It looks more aqua kinda blue green than blue or green. I really wanted it to be more blue, but still its a very pretty set.
