one of those people who gets cold as soon as the Fall comes around. I like
to spend most of my nights in the house, which means my heating bill can get
racked up very easily, but this blanket has helped keep my heating bill very
low.
Enough about me, let's talk about the blanket itself. First off, it's very
soft and the wires inside of it aren't as protruding as other blankets I've
seen in the store. The lighted controller is wonderful; it allows me to
change the blanket settings, or turn it on and off, at night without having
to turn the light on. The cord is also very long, it actually reaches all of
the outlets in my bedroom.
This blanket easily gets five stars from me. I'm actually going to order two

Bought this blanket after realizing we didn't have enough heat in our newly renovated basement. Couldn't stand the thought of installing more heat and increasing our bill so we bought this blanket. Love it!

I use this blanket under my sheets to preheat my bed before I go to sleep and it keeps me warm throughout the night. When I wake up in the morning I'm all warm and toasty, instead of freezing. The only drawback is that the material does tend to shed a bit. However, if you just keep the blanket under your sheets like I do, you don't have to worry about it. The blanket material is very soft and my controller came with 10 heat settings and dimmer to see in the dark. You can feel some of the wires in the blanket, but that's standard with all types of electric blankets. Where do you think the heat comes from!? lol The heating system in this blanket reacts to where you are touching the blanket and where you are cold, so I found this very convenient. I guess this is supposed to be the "smart technology" Sunbeam keeps touting on their blankets.
